Music On Monday: Your Rocky Spine

Great Lake Swimmers are a Canadian folk band out of Ontario, and you know I have a thing for Canadian folk music. I stumbled upon them accidentally a few years ago during a late night iTunes spending spree. Although they are from the shores of a less superior Great Lake, I think these musicians get the vibe of the greatest lake. I like to pretend some of these lyrics are about Superior, one of the great loves of my life…although it’s impossible not to hear a gorgeous, love song between humans as well.

Falling over your rocky spine, the glaciers made you and now you’re mine.
