About Falcor

Falcor was adopted into the family on January 17th, 2006. Quiet and timid from the start, it took only moments for Falcor to secure his place in our family. He has the look of a living teddy bear and the demeanor of a devilish but adorable toddler.

Falcor was named after the luck dragon in ‘The NeverEnding Story,’ a favorite movie from our childhoods. Like the Falcor of the film, our Falcor can bring you a smile and some comfort at your darkest moments. Also, he can fly.

Falcor enjoys long walks, off-leash adventures and games of chase with dogs who are much bigger and less agile than he, thereby earning the nickname ‘Little Barry Sanders.’ He takes great pleasure in eviscerating small stuffed animals and carrying the carcasses around for eternity. He is a bit willful and excitable, but between bouts of misbehavior he spends long hours sleeping peacefully in adorable positions. While Falcor loves to be part of the pack and the company of his sister Enid, he has an independent spirit and occasionally needs alone time to contemplate the origins of the universe.

If you would like to find a friend to add to your family, please contact your local rescue agency or consult PetFinder to adopt an animal that truly needs a home.

  1. I am giggling uncontrollably. I just realized that you had these “About Enid” and “About Falcor” pages….in ADDITION to “About Us”.
